San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna), 1 July 2026 – The excitement continues to grow at the 13th European Deaf Bowling Championships as the official practice sessions resume this morning.

Following yesterday’s arrival of all participating delegations and the first opportunity to become familiar with the lanes, athletes are back at the bowling centre for another important training session. Teams are making their final technical adjustments, refining strategies, and preparing for the first official competitions that will begin shortly.

This afternoon, at 4:00 PM (CEST), the championships will officially begin with the Opening Ceremony, bringing together athletes, officials, volunteers, and guests to celebrate the start of two weeks of European Deaf bowling.

The Opening Ceremony will be broadcast live, allowing families, supporters, and bowling enthusiasts from across Europe and around the world to take part in this special occasion.
