The countdown is over! The 13th European Deaf Bowling Championships have officially brought together 18 national federations from across Europe, ready to compete for the continental titles in San Lazzaro di Savena, Italy.

Each national delegation is composed of athletes, coaches, officials, and team staff, creating a truly international atmosphere that celebrates sporting excellence, friendship, and the unity of the European Deaf community.

The championships began with the arrival of all delegations on 29 June, followed by the Opening Ceremony on 1 July. Competition officially starts on 2 July, when the first medals of the championship will be contested.

During the event, athletes will compete in the following disciplines:

  • Men’s Singles
  • Women’s Singles
  • Men’s Doubles
  • Women’s Doubles
  • Men’s Trios
  • Women’s Trios
  • Team Event
  • Masters

In addition, this edition introduces the Mixed Doubles as an experimental event. If the competition proves successful, it is expected to become an official discipline at the 14th European Deaf Bowling Championships, marking another important milestone in the development of European Deaf bowling.
